Research - Drawing - Sophia Crilly
Sophia Crilly, whose contemporary work is currently touring as one of the 2011 entries for the Jerwood Drawing Prize, depicts a series of small influential portraits of curators and gallery owners. Her pencil drawings attempt to capture the personality and character of these figures. I like her realistic impression and style of drawing.
